IQair V5-Cell Replacement Filter
The IQAir HealthPro V5-Cell Air Filter Replacement is a replacement air filter for the IQAir HealthPro Air Purifier and the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier. The IQAir V5-Cell filter removes odors, gases, and smoke from your air. It also traps dirt, dust, pet dander, bacteria, viruses, mold spores, dust mites, and other airborne allergens and contaminants.
The IQAir V5 is a five layer filter with a blend of activated carbon charcoal for excellent odor, smoke, and gas control. Air particles larger than .3 microns in size are trapped in the five filter chambers of the IQAir V5 filter. The filter media is composed of five (5) pounds of activated carbon and alumina impregnated with potassium permanganate.
The V-shaped carbon media chambers allow for a higher airflow than standard flat carbon filters. This filter safely removes 99% of all airborne pathogens greater than .3 microns in size - it also reduces or removes noxious gases, tobacco smoke, as well as unpleasant odors.
